A quiet Sunday Spent at Chakrata

This sunday I decided to stay back to enjoy a quiet sunday and the fine weather of Chakrata...My day was started late got up at 8.30 prepared a cup of tea for myself for a change as for past few months I was having only coffee....After taking a cold water bath came out of my room for a breakfast....But the market was closed today and I was informed that there is  a Bhandara in nearby temple so market would be closed for the day...and I may too go to Bhandara...But thought otherwise as most of such occassions I found already well fed ppl feed each other and then leave the place dirty with thermocol plates and cups all around.I dropped the idea and still decided to look for any open shop and there was one I found open at the end of the market. I helped myself with 02 Aloo Parathas with Chole and not quite good Curd. It was now the turn to look for tea. At this place I tried several shops for tea but all are trained to prepare the tea with liberal quantity of sugar.....I then tried so...

एक दिन, दो सच्ची कहानी

आज दो काम पूरे हुए । शायद मार्च का महीना था, बोर्ड के एग्जाम चल रहे थे । चकराता में एक दुकान पर बैठ कर शाम की चाय पी रहा था । उसी दुकान में दो, तीन बच्चियां दिखाई दी । आदतन उनसे पूछ लिया कि क्या बोर्ड के एग्जाम देने आए हो ? उन्होंने कहा हां sir । मैंने बोला कि बहुत खुशी की बात है, बच्ची अलग अलग गांव से थी । मैंने उनसे आगे की पढ़ाई के बारे में पूछा, तो एक थोड़ा मायूस होकर बोली पता नहीं सर, मुझे लगा बच्ची पढ़ना तो चाहती है 10 के बाद भी लेकिन शायद घर की कोई समस्या होगी । मैंने फिर पूछा कि क्यों क्या हुआ ?? बच्ची बोली कि सर गांव में 10 तक का ही स्कूल है, इंटर कॉलेज या तो कालसी है या फिर 15 किलोमीटर दूर दूसरे गांव में । और घर वाले बाहर नहीं भेजेंगे । मुझे थोड़ा दुख सा भी हुआ । मैंने उसे बताया कि उस जैसी लड़कियों के लिए हमारे विभाग ने एक होस्टल कालसी में खोला हुआ है जहां पर लड़कियों को रहने खाने की सुविधा सरकार से फ्री दी जाती है और उनकी पढ़ाई नजदीक के  स्कूल में होती है । सुनकर बच्ची खुश हो गयी, मैंने उससे एक कागज और पेन लाने को कहा और वहां की वार्डन के लिए उसकी तरफ से एक एप्लीकेशन लिख कर उस...
